Alyssa Glanville
Alyssa has been dancing since she was 8 years old. She started in Lindyhop and Folk Dancing. While she loved dance, she spent a lot of her youth playing soccer and showing horses competitively. It wasn't until she started ballroom when she was 15 that she was first exposed to West Coast Swing. She immediately fell in love with the dance, especially the creative aspect drawn from other dances. Since then, Alyssa has trained in Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, Zouk, and Ballet. She uses her knowledge from those dances to enhance her WCS. She loves travelling and being a professional dancer and international coach. www.alyssamarieglanville.com |
Tze Yi
Tze Yi began his WCS journey 10 years ago, coming from the Street Latin world of Salsa and Bachata. He was inspired by Jordan & Tatiana, and took on the daunting task of starting a WCS scene in Singapore from scratch. Over the past 10 years, he has built a small but closely-knit scene of Westies, and also organizes the Asia WCS Open - the very first WSDC event in Asia. He is also the first dancer from Asia to compete at the Champions division. With 20 years of teaching experience, Tze Yi brings a unique, fun and approachable perspective to WCS, and his classes are perfect for social dancers who want to master their craft, with lots of laughter along the way. |

Katrina Ostrenski
Katrina first began dancing at the age of 10, mainly in Modern Jive but also exploring Jazz and Tap dancing. She discovered West Coast Swing 15 years ago and became addicted to this dance style partly due to the creative aspect and also the joy she found on the dance floor. Spending time travelling, teaching, competing and judging both in Australia and overseas, Kat has helped spread the love for West Coast Swing in Australasia and establish our amazing community. She believes that dancing is a platform to self-discovery, inspire and be inspired whilst sharing memories with friends and meeting new ones. She is always up for a dance, so don't be shy and ask her to dance! |
JP Masson & Emma Collyer
JP started dancing when he was five, whilst attending a performing arts primary school. Moving around between ballet, gymnastics, hip-hop and break dancing, at the age of 12 JP's mum introduced him to WCS. Emma's understanding of dance technique and interest in an array of dance styles and music have led to her current status as a World Swing Dance Council classified All-Stars dancer. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Anatomy) and is passionate about creating an intuitive learning environment, which empowers students to feel comfortable with their movement and develop their own style. Since commencing their partnership in 2012, JP and Emma have together received countless accolades, taught throughout the Asia-Pacific, performed Classic Division routines, and judged worldwide. With a combined 21 years of WCS experience, they strive to create an inclusive dance environment where they can pass on their shared interests in biomechanics and musicality. |

She’s probably best loved for her gangsta tunes and gangsta dress, but enjoys a good acoustic late night set too. With a focus on balancing reading the room, with shaping the room, Dani is known for her ability to create great-flowing sets, which get everyone dancing. After huge success in 2019 and 2020, Dani is back again in 2021 for another round of amazingness.

Kevin Lawrence
Event Director Kevin began dancing WCS in 2012, without any prior dance experience. After several years, he began teaching in Adelaide and became involved in Dance Event Organisation in 2014.
Being the Swiss that he is, it’s impossible for Kevin not to love being organised; His sense of humour is also, well, Swiss, with a little Australian twist. With strong focus on social attributes, Kevin has successfully coordinated west coast swing events in Australia for five years and is very excited to host Adelaide's only WCS event. |
