Q: What is the capacity or cap on attendees for the event in 2022? A: There is no cap or limit to registrations imposed by SA Health, however we may close registrations to ensure a comfortable number of people is maintained throughout the weekend. Please register early if you want to be guaranteed a spot.
Q: Will masks be mandatory at Simply Adelaide WCS 2022? A: Honestly, we don't know. It is our preference not to have to have masks however please be aware that masks may be required for parts or all of the activities. We also think an event with masks is better than no event. Wearing a mask can also be a personal preference so don't be offended if someone would like you to wear one when dancing.
Q: Do I need be COVID vaccine to attend the event in 2022? A: Simply Adelaide WCS has no intention to make vaccination a prerequisite for attendance unless it becomes mandated by SA Health and/or the SA Government. We encourage everyone who is eligible and for whom taking the vaccine is recommended to go ahead and get vaccinated.
Q: Do I need get a COVID test to attend the event in 2022? A: While we cannot anticipate these being required, you should be prepared and be willing to undergo a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and/or Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Test if required by SA Health, SA Government or Simply Adelaide WCS in order to attend the event.
Q: I've already paid for my pass, what if I can't make it due to travel restrictions? A: Anyone who cannot travel into South Australia due to border restrictions is eligible for a refund and/or credit voucher to put towards next year's event. Please note that only credit vouchers will be issued for requests submitted on or after 1st October 2022. Please note this clause only come into effect should border restrictions be imposed by a jurisdiction.
Q: What if the 2022 event is cancelled last minute due to COVID-19? A: You will receive a voucher for the value of your pass which can be redeemed with next year's event pass.
Q: Is there a deadline to register? A: No, there are no deadlines however we may be limited by capacity so registering early is always best. Please also note all passes & tickets from 1st November 2022 are subjected to a price increase.
Q: Will competitions be running in 2022? What about WSDC Jack & Jill? A: Yes, we are planning on running competitions, both WSDC Jack & Jill as well as Novice and Open Strictly Swing. For WSDC Jack & Jills we require 80 single competitors across a minimum of 2 divisions for these to go ahead.
