South Australia is home to 18 world-renowned wine regions and is known as the wine capital of Australia. With more than 200 cellar doors State-wide, all offering a wide range of grape varietals, you will be certain to find something for every pallet. Simply Adelaide West Coast Swing proudly supports and promotes South Australia's diverse regions through wine tasting activities every year. Being and inclusive and social event, wine tours and/or tasting aims also at providing local, interstate and international attendees the opportunity to experience South Australia through scenery and local produce tasting whilst enabling dancers to socialise and wove friendships spending time together away from the dance floor.

10.50am - Meet at Mawson Lakes Hotel Lobby
11am - Bus Departs to Adelaide Hills
12pm - Gruthal Brewery
1x Grünthal gin and tonic, 2x Grünthal beers and 2x Hesketh wines served with five matching cheeses
Shared pizzas & chips for lunch
1.15pm - 2.15pm free time in Hahndorf (be a tourist or head to another place for tasting)
2.30pm - Sidewood Estate
taste 5x wines
3.30pm - Departure from Sidewood
4.30pm - Arrival at Mawson Lakes Hotel

About the Adelaide Hills
The Adelaide Hills is Australia's most vibrant cool climate wine region, is one of the largest geographical wine regions in Australia, and amongst the most diverse in terms of climate, soil and topography.
With over 90 wine labels and 50 cellar doors, it is acknowledged internationally for its distinctive premium wines, viticulture and stunning scenery.
The region is located in the Mount Lofty Ranges east of Adelaide. Stretching in a narrow band approximately 70km long, the highest vineyards are sited between 600-650 metres altitude in areas such as Crafers, Summertown, Piccadilly and Carey Gully.
